A taste of Wellington

Our last stop on the north Island before we take the ferry to the south island. Although it’s hard to get the full grasp of a place when you only spend a few days there, Wellington seems to show off kiwi creativity and festivity mixed with fabulous landscapes and natural surroundings.

Some of my favorite shots from our walk around downtown.

Scenic drive on the bay.

The WETA cave. (the company that worked on the design effects for LOTR)

Partying like a kiwi!

Love the bay shots. The processing gives it a nice feel, bringing out the details.

  2. Great photos – you really capture the feel of Wellington! That’s where we’re usually based when we’re not off gallivanting around the world. South Korea is SO different to New Zealand! Thanks for the lovely shots of home :)
